Second Grade Unit Plan
In this unit children explore the history of their local community through maps, primary documents, such as journals and newspaper articles, and secondary source materials such as publications by local historical societies. The children concentrate on the history of their own local community through the creation of timelines and historical narratives and the analysis of primary and secondary sources.
